Check the numbers
A ticket product is what a customer buys. An admission pass is what one attendee presents at the door. One family product may issue several passes, so products sold and passes issued are different counts.
- Open My Events, choose the event and select Tickets to see each tier's sales and availability.
- Review both the tier quantity and the event's overall entry capacity before releasing more admission.
- Use the Attendees and Finance views to reconcile active, cancelled and refunded passes; do not infer attendance from product sales alone.
Stop sales for one tier
- 1Open the event's Tickets tab.
- 2Find the tier and select Mark sold out.
- 3Read the confirmation and confirm. New sales for that tier stop immediately; existing bookings and passes remain valid.
- 4Check the public event page or cart to confirm the tier is no longer selectable.
Reopen a sold-out tier
- 1On the sold-out tier, select Reopen sales.
- 2Enter the number of additional ticket products you want to make available, then confirm.
- 3Check the resulting availability and the event's overall entry capacity before inviting customers to book.
Important: Reopening releases the additional quantity you enter; it does not restore the tier's original full stock. Prior sales remain in its history.
Editing and special cases
- Use Save changes after editing tier details. A tier with sales should be paused or sold out, not deleted.
- If an event uses assigned seating, also verify the seat inventory shown to customers.
- Keep collection-only food and merchandise in Event Shop so they do not use admission capacity.
